Iconic supermodel Christie Brinkley launched Authentic Beauty Color Cosmetics this past month and its essence is that of Brinkley; simply beautiful.

Her make-up line is a curated collection of treatment-based color cosmetics with skincare benefits that enhance your natural beauty. When creating the line, Brinkley’s objective was to serve the needs of time-pressed women who want products that can take them from day to night. Added benefits that incorporate skincare components include light weight formulas that camouflage dark circles, soft focus optical blurring and peptide blends to boost collagen repair. Furthermore, her products are cruelty free!

I tested a few of Brinkley’s products and was thrilled by the presentation and quality of the line. The packaging and casing of the make-up is aesthetically pleasing, with a vibrant pink, glossy finish. This very sleek design is only the beginning to my satisfaction with this collection.

The first product I tested was the Cheek Chic Color and Contour Powder Blush in Posh. This product is known for its soft, satin-finish as well as being infused with skin-brightening and radiance-boosting antioxidant Vitamins C and Vitamin E. What I enjoyed about the application as well as the product is that it wasn’t overbearing, as some cheek tints or blushes can be. It provided my cheeks with a beautiful, soft color and resulted in a smooth, natural finish. This product retails for $22 and is available in 2 shades; Thrill and Posh.

Next, I tested the Strobe Show Natural Glow Stick Highlighter in the shade Pinked. A great highlighter is key to pulling off the natural glow look. This universal highlighter incorporates light-reflecting optics which instantly add a lit-from-within luminosity to the skin. It can be worn on bare skin or paired with foundation due to it being paraben-free as well as oil-free. This fantastic highlighter retails for $22 and is available in 2 shades; Pinked and Champagne Glow.

Lastly, I tested Brinkley’s Lip Beautifully Moisture-Rich Lipstick in the shade Bliss. In all my years of wearing make-up, I have never come across a lipstick so smooth and moisturizing. This is due to its emollient, ultra-moisturizing formula that quenches lips with hydration and saturates lips with color. Additionally, this lipstick is a non-feathering, no-fade formula developed to pamper lips with hydration and single-stroke. Besides its incredibly rich color, the product is paraben-free! This moisture-rich lipstick retails for $19 and is available in 3 shades; Bliss, Charm and Stunner. This is definitely a product that I want to include in my everyday beauty routine!
